LGA has started design work on the multi-phase Addition/Renovation at Morristown Hamblen West High School. Phase One includes interior finish & electrical upgrades at the existing Auditorium as well as work at the existing football field/track complex. The exact scope of Phase Two has not been finalized but will include a 2-story, 16-classroom addition as well as building systems upgrades
LGA is currently in the Construction Administration phase on the new 750 student freshman academy in Jefferson County. The new academy is scheduled for completion in late Spring of 2013 with occupancy for Fall 2013. Funding has also been approved for a major renovation/addition at the existing high school. Preliminary plans and budgets have been developed.
LGA is nearing the end of completion of the Schematic Design phase for a new 1,000 student comprehensive high school for Alcoa City Schools. The school will be located adjacent to the existing high school. Long range plans call for the creation of an intermediate school at the existing middle school with the middle school slated to occupy the existing high school. This would give Alcoa City Schools system-wide room for anticipated growth.
The Lewis Group Architects (LGA) welcomes E. Scott Terry to its team where he will focus on design in the Healthcare and Education Studios. Previously with TVS of Atlanta, Scott is also a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he received his Bachelors Degree in Architecture.

This month, Chancellor Jimmy Cheek and several University of Tennessee officials cut the ribbon on the new 98,000 s.f. University of Tennessee Student Health Center facility on the Knoxville campus. The new facility is designed to meet the current and future healthcare needs for the student and faculty for years to come.
After years of research, planning and design, construction has begun on Covenant Health and Roane Medical Center's new $72 million dollar state-of-the-art hospital. The new campus designed by LGA will be built on Roane State Highway in Midtown.
Roane Medical Center will provide the full range of quality care and services currently provided at the Devonia Street campus including: medical and surgical care, emergency services, rehabilitation support, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, RMC Patricia Neal outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic sleep studies, and women's health services.
