Knoxville Orthopaedic Surgery Center
A new two-story, 30,000 sq. ft. single specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center with 6 operating rooms and associated ancillary spaces is the newest addition to Fort Sanders West's Campus in West Knoxville. The new ASTC will be located adjacent to the existing Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic and will cost approximately $9 million. The facility includes a two-story waiting room with a full glass wall enhancing natural light while providing a connection outdoors with a view of a landscaped area to create positive distractions. The second floor will provide space for the corporate offices of Ortho Tennessee. Mechanical and electrical systems were designed for maximum functionality and energy savings.
