Michael Hicks

Michael Hicks (Mike) was born in Maryville, Tennessee but was raised on the banks of the Ohio River. After high school, he returned to his hometown and attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where he attained his Bachelor degree in Architecture. After graduation, Mike spent his early career working in the Knoxville area on a wide variety of Residential, Commercial, Retail, Industrial, and Educational projects. Since 2006, he worked in Little Rock, Arkansas where he gained experience working on projects for the Department Of Veteran’s Affairs, Department Of Defense, and the Defense Commissary Agency. He recently joined Lewis Group in Fall of 2014. Mike is also skilled in Autocad, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop. Outside the office Mike enjoys hiking and cycling, and has participated twice in the “Tour de Cure” race for the American Diabetes Foundation. He also likes carpentry, and spends most of his weekends working on old houses. Mike has one daughter Melissa, and a granddaughter Bleu, who live in Blount County.
